The design intention does not passively propose the setting of the souk. Instead, it reworks the concept by inserting it in a more contemporary context. This is achieved by combining contemporary materials and finishing such as the walls with concrete, or etched iron and led-lit smoked glass shelves for the arrangement of bottles and containers, and furniture created using beautiful aged oak.

The aim was to evoke a distant world through deliberately exotic references, without trivializing them, but by providing a current interpretation and attributing a renewed interpretation to the product’s identity.
